Hot on the heels of the BlackBerry Storm 2, the BlackBerry Bold 2 is the latest smartphone announced by email giants RIM. Smaller and lighter than the BlackBerry Bold 9000, the Bold 9700 looks like a merger between both the Bold and the Curve range.
Some touches of the Bold remain such as the faux leather back and fretted keyboard and it comes packing tech with a 64Mhz processor, 256MB Flash Memory, AGPS, Wi-Fi and a somewhat paltry 3.2-megapixel camera. RIM also claims that the battery life will now last for over two days.
During the global press announcement we nabbed a handset for closer inspection. Take a look at our hands-on pics and read our hands-on first impressions here.
