Specs-wise the Droid will have the latest Android 2.0 “Éclair” OS, a 3.7 inch WVGA TFT touchscreen as well as a physical QWERTY keypad.
The multimedia features are far from shabby with the 5 megapixel camera boasting 4x zoom, automatic focus and dual LED flash. There is also talk of DVD quality video capture and the phone will of course include that all important 3G.
The poster has been hurriedly removed but based on these it appears that Moto has pulled out all the stops with this one. Then again it will have to work overtime to make up the head start it has given to its competitors such as Apple and Samsung.
No word yet on the release date, but as always we’ll keep you posted.
